since 2006 there is aer_inject in linux kernel, why there is no dpc_inject (I guess there will be a reason)? if I want to to simulate or test dpc any suggestions or code available? dpc=Downstream Port Containment
when both aer/dpc enabled:
1.if dpc triggers its interrupt, the error msg will forward to aer, the reverse is false. - is this right?
2.can I use aer_inject to trigger dpc? if not can I hard code to trigger dpc?
